Recap: NJDA Convention 2017

Blue skies cleared the way for the 51st annual NJDA Convention held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Several NJDA members provided case law updates in various practice areas and rising ethical considerations which have developed in the past year. Sponsors, including but not limited to Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Robson Forensic, Exponent and Rimkus Consulting Group offered practical tips on incorporating their services into successful litigation.

Golfers teed off at the West Course, thrill-seekers flocked to the amusement park for roller coasters and water rides, while others relaxed poolside or at the Chocolate Spa. In the evening, attendees mingled at the cocktail reception hosted by ExamWorks.

In true Hershey fashion, on Saturday night, members donned candy-theme inspired attire at the 2017 President’s Reception. Chairman of the Board, Chad Moore, passed the gavel to our incoming president, Natalie Mantell. The annual banquet and awards dinner brought together members and guests for a fun night of dinner and dancing, with a side or two of Hershey’s famous dessert delicacies. At the banquet, the NJDA proudly recognized the 2017 Lawyer of the Year, Melissa Steedle Bogad and the 2017 Young Lawyer of the Year, Robert Luthman.

Congratulations to Natalie, Melissa and Rob!
