NJDA is Hosting a Virtual Food Drive!

Hi all –this year in addition to securing donations at the Auto Seminar we are really excited to host our first Virtual Food Drive for Community Food Bank of NJ. Some may already be well familiar with this group –I simply can’t say enough about their extraordinary work . With their headquarters based in Hillside, they branch out and provide healthy food to grass roots food pantries –soup kitchens –schools and other worthy programs all over the State of NJ. Please hop on their website to see the extent of their amazing great work.

So here’s how it works:

  • You hop on the site http://support.cfbnj.org/goto/NJDA

  • You can either go “shopping” using the left hand margin and selecting your category(s) of preference – or alternatively make a monetary donation that will be used in its best way or if you want to pool resources or your firm’s budget allows perhaps buy a truck of food or a kids café of lunches for a school for an amount that will surprise you .

The amazing thing about the Community Food Bank virtual drive is its buying power-generous wholesalers partner with them so you’ll see just how far your dollars can stretch here. It’s quite uplifting and remarkable.

So we hope you will check out the website and whether a bushel of bananas or a truck of food –we thank you very much for your generosity. It’s great to know that our efforts are helping our fellow New Jerseyans –and particularly seniors and children - from going to bed hungry and guaranteeing they have the nutritious healthy meals we are able to share with our families.
